Blog Stalker

Hi, my name is Emily and I am a blog stalker!!
Over the summer I discovered teaching blogs and I love them!! I spend hours (ways too many hours) on fellow kindergarten teacher's blogs. They know exactly what I need to teach and how I need to teach it. They understand where my kinders are right now and what skills they have and more importantly what skills they don't have. I have gotten many, many ideas, lessons, centers, etc. from these blogs and I am grateful for these teachers willingness to share!
So yes, I am a blog stalker and happy to be one!!

Summer

Wow, I love summer!! Staying up late, sleeping in, walking at night and not wearing a jacket, sewing, creating math and literacy stations, and catching up on life are just a few of the things I have been doing so far this summer.

Being a teacher is the best job I could ever have! But one thing I have learned, is that I need my summer. Summer is a time for me to rest, get re-motivated and catch up on life (thus this posting). My hope is to post at least once a week this summer. So, wish me luck!!
